Average like-for-like sales across leading restaurant and pub groups were up +1.9% in July. This follows 1.4% lfl growth in June. The figures come from the Coffer Peach Business Tracker. Total sales, which include those from new openings, were ahead +3.3% on July 2009.

Groups see sales edge ahead in April

Predictions that trading will remain tight in 2010 are being borne out by the latest industry sales data from the Coffer Peach Business Tracker. The 15 major pub and restaurant operators participating in the Tracker survey collectively saw April like-for-like sales ahead just 0.7% on the same month last year. Total sales were up 2.0% on April 2009. more...
