Peterborough hails Peter Boizot

Boizot was presented with the honour at the Peach 2020 Conference on Thursday (18 November). Now, local newspaper Peterborough Today has gathered tributes from local dignitaries including John Bridge, chief executive of Peterborough Chamber of Commerce. “He is a Peterborough icon and someone who I think has put a tremendous amount into Peterborough and many people and organisations have a lot to thank him for.”

Kelly Pindar, manager of the Pizza Express restaurant in Peterborough, added: “He is very deserving of this award.” Pindar says Boizot is still a regular at his local restaurant. “He is still very much a part of our branch and pops in virtually every day for a bite to eat and a chat about the business.”
