Burger King squares up to McDonald’s on value

15 November, 2010

Burger King and McDonald’s go head to head in a battle for customers’ loyalty in a new video report by Brand Republic.

The vox pops on the two fast food giants follow the decision by Burger King to launch a new ‘value’ menu from January. The offer will square up to McDonald’s ‘Saver’ menu that is receiving a big marketing push at the moment.

“The members of the public interviewed leaned towards the opinion that McDonald’s was cheaper, but they were divided on quality,” says Brand Republic. “Burger King is a bit too expensive but you don’t really get that much of it,” says one interviewee; “It’s more expensive than McDonald’s but it’s quality,” adds another.
