Fuller’s trials Domino’s tie-up

13 August, 2012

Pub group Fuller’s and pizza delivery firm Domino’s are getting together on an imaginative partnership. Fuller’s has made the approach to Domino’s to help support tenanted pubs that do not sell food.

The tie-up sees customers at the pubs order deliveries from Domino’s, as they would at home, and then eat them in the pub. The tie-up is now in action at “a couple of Fuller’s pubs and a few free-traders in different areas,” with six more in talks to link up. Domino’s provides posters and other information to promote the offer.

A Domino’s spokesman said of the tie-up: “It is designed to benefit pubs with no food offering of their own and it will be particularly beneficial when the football season kicks off. We want customers to treat the pub as an extension of their house.”
