Three cheers for Nando's - top employer
7 March, 2010
by Peter Martin
Nando's has been named the Sunday Times 2010 Best Big Company to Work For - striking a major victory for the reputation not just of casual dining but for the hospitality sector in general.
The nationwide peri-peri chicken chain beat off the likes of Goldman Sachs, PricewaterhouseCoopers, KPMG, Mothercare and Boots Opticians to take the title at the first time of trying.
Nando's may not be the biggest payer but its staff like it - ranking it top out of 25 major companies across business by its own employees. Pub operator Orchid took 20th spot.
