More big names join Peach 2020 line-up

18 November, 2010, Bafta Theatre, London

Punch Pub Co md Mike Tye and PizzaExpress boss Mark Angela have both joined the list of high profile speakers along with US chain restaurant guru Prof Chris Muller (pictured) at this year's Peach 2020 conference on 18 November, at the Bafta Theatre, London. VIP seats have all been allocated, but tickets are still available for the morning conference only.

Remaining tickets are £150 (plus VAT). Operators, suppliers and investors wanting to attend should contact Christine Martin on 01704 550383 or email christine@peach-factory.com to secure their place(s).

Mark Angela joins top US chain restaurant guru Prof Chris Muller, Pizza Hut boss Jens Hofma, Tragus marketing director Jemima Bird and YO! Sushi ceo Robin Rowland, who will be guest chair alongside Peach's Peter Martin, at the event in London, on November 18.

Other recently confirmed speakers are Royal Bank of Scotland UK economist Ross Walker,  who will again be opening proceedings with his annual take on the British economy, and Mike Amos from customer engagement experts Empathica

The PizzaExpress managing director will update the audience on progress on the brand's new concept restaurant opening this month in Richmond, while Chris Muller, who has just taken up a new job as Dean of Boston University School of Hospitality Administration, and will bring an international dimension to the agenda.

Other speakers already signed up for the 2010 panel include: Simon Wilkinson, UK boss of the Kout Group, which runs everything from Burger King sites to Maison Blanc; Le Pain Quotidien managing director Steven Whibley; and Nielsen Harrap, associate director at CACI, the retail market mappers.

The exclusive, invitation-only event, is for senior executives from across the eating and drinking out sectors, and will be held at the Bafta theatre, 195 Piccadilly, London, on November 18.

Robin Rowland brings a unique operator's perspective to steering the conference debate and discussion. He has already set out three questions he wants the day to address:

  • How do you shift static sales?
  • How do you find quality sites?
  • How do you really motivate your people?

The key theme of the day will be understanding the consumer experience from brand awareness right through to delivering satisfaction and high net-promoter scores - and understanding the factors that influence them, from effective marketing to quality service to food & drink innovation.

Peter Martin will present the very latest consumer insight from Peach's own BrandTrack research.

Peach 2020 is run in partnership with Royal Bank of Scotland, Coca-Cola, Bacardi-Martini, Ecolab and Coffer Corporate Leisure
