Papa John's to push on in UK

23 July, 2012

US-based pizza franchise Papa John’s has opened five more branches in the UK and says it is on track to reach 200 before the end of the year.

The openings over the last two months in Broxbourne, Enfield, Guildford, Leamington Spa and Manchester lift Papa John’s total UK estate to 188. The company has now started a new franchise drive in the UK with ambitions for around 150 new sites over the next three years, which would take its total past 300. It has invested in a new Milton Keynes centre to service the UK

Papa John’s now has around 3,900 units in 33 countries, and launched into the UK about ten years ago. The pizza sector has been one of the fastest growing parts of the market over the last few years, with sales growing despite the recession.
