Expanding Marston's gets 7% like-for-like boost

Marston's, the pub operator and brewer, saw like-for-like sales in its managed pubs grow 7%in the eight weeks to 21 January, with food up 8% and drink sales ahead 6.5%.

Fuller's pubs see 5.1% like-for-like sales increase

Fuller Smith & Turner, the London-based pub and brewing business, saw like-for-like sales in its managed pubs and hotels grow 5.1% in the nine weeks to 21 January.

M&B sees 6.5% like-for-like increase in current trading

JD Wetherspoon, the UK's leading high street pub chain, saw like-for-like sales increase 3.6% in the 12 weeks to January 15. Total sales, including new pubs, were ahead 9.9% on last year.

December trading pushes sector like-for-likes up 9.9%

Britain’s pub and restaurant groups enjoyed a major sales boost over Christmas and New Year. Collective like-for-like sales for December were up 9.9% on the same period last year, with total sales ahead 13.7% on December 2010, according to latest Coffer Peach Business Tracker data.

Greene King like-for-likes up 8.2% across retail business

Greene King brands, saw like-for-like sales in its retail business grow 8.2% over the seven weeks to 15 January. Food like-for-likes were ahead 11.1% on last year.
